"brilliant, non-toxic"
In a drawer within arm's reach of where I sit lies a box of 16 crayons. These aren't Crayola, which is what most people might find in a drawer within arm's reach of where they sit, but are instead Prang, sticks of colored wax manufactured by the Dixon Ticonderoga Company (people who make a lot of pencils). Prang ... Crayola ... both are what the tots use to keep inside the lines printed in books whose pages are cheap newsprint. I've had the box for a very long time, so long that I have no idea where I got it. I've always loved the smell of art supplies. I'm also often overly sentimental and will fixate on aromas which remind me of years gone by. That makes a box of crayons a double olfactory whammy.

Wonderfully waxed pearfection!
