It's beginning to look nothing like Christmas.

These represent the last of the smiley cursors I created for the cursor company. I regret not having explored further possibilities with the lady cursor. It's as if she's waving good-bye. Makes me a little sad. *sniffle*
(The above cursors are presented at 200% to show detail and to discourage their usage elsewhere. Using them elsewhere could find you sniffling as you wave good-bye to the funds the cursor company legal team extract from your current and future earnings.)

This is not a place where I broadcast my sour grapes - and I do not want it to be - but an intensely bitter taste was revived when I spotted these icons lying forgotten in a dark and musty corner of my hard drive.
I was once contacted by an "interdisciplinary design firm with offices in L.A. and S.F." to create graphics for a high-profile organization for which they were involved in developing some sort of thing. I did so, tweaking them twice per interdisciplinary design man's specifications. In the end, the high-profile organization elected not to use the icons. However, interdisciplinary design man failed to voluntarily disclose that information and only did so after I contacted him a couple of times wondering what exactly was going on with the project. The payment promised - a reduced payment because high-profile organization didn't use the art (which was an arrangement never mentioned previously) - never arrived. Even after a couple of additional promises the monies never materialized. That wasn't the only time I got shafted regarding being paid for my work - and certainly it won't be the last - but for some reason it really stuck in my craw.
I think that demon has now been sufficiently exorcised. Thank you for your patience!
Happy Easter, everybody! I'll see you again post Pascha.

If ever your curiosity got the better of you and you clicked that button over there on the right, the one with the spooky orange Pac ghostie, you've discovered that it leads to a storefront at which you can purchase a few 1-inch ether-designed buttons.
It just so happens that I have three sets of all four ghosties sitting right here within arm's reach, three sets which I'm giving away for FREE. The first three people who send me an email with Akabei! Aosuke! Machibuse! Guzata! in the subject line get them!
UPDATE: They're all gone! Stay tuned for future freebies.

During the process of cranking out the cursors I was given ongoing subjects to portray. But I was also given the freedom to create random stuff. Stuff that that had nothing to do with anything. Stuff I couldn't possibly imagine anybody would ever remotely desire employing as a cursor. And you've probably already guessed that these "whatever" items ended up being my favorites!
(The above cursors are presented at 200% to show detail and to discourage their usage elsewhere. Taking a "whatever" attitude and heisting them will result in the judge answering with a apathetic "whatever" when the prosecution brings mighty legal mayhem down upon your head.)
