what a short, strange trip it's been
If I had been paying attention last week I would have noticed (and mentioned) that this blog o' mine is one year old! But better late than never, so happy birthday to it! I have, of course, maintained a web presence for much longer than one year and a week, but it's only been since February 12, 2007, that I've visited your web browser on a quasi-daily basis, displaying thingies that weren't there on your previous visit. For the occasion I had considered chronicling the lessons I've learned, the mistakes I've made, the pitfalls into which I've stepped, and the various and sundry ups and downs that are a part of keeping this place reasonably fresh; but, golly, would that have ever been a dull post. I will instead express a hearty thanks to all you good people who stop by to see my stuff: THANKS!
